Ice Skate Sharpening & Repair Services Available
Ever thought about giving ice hockey a go but weren’t sure where to start? Now’s your chance! Willies.co.uk, in partnership with Bauer Hockey, National Ice Centre, and Nottingham Vipers Ice Hockey Club, is running an exciting Learn to Play Ice Hockey scheme, designed especially for girls and women aged 10 and up.
Starting April 6th, 2025, at National Ice Centre, this program is the perfect opportunity to step onto the ice, learn the basics, and discover just how much fun ice hockey can be. No experience? No problem! This is a beginner-friendly environment with supportive coaching, so whether you’ve never worn skates before or you’ve tried ice hockey a couple of times, you’ll be in good hands.
When & Where?
🏒 Sessions will run every Sunday from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM at National Ice Centre in Nottingham, giving you regular opportunities to practice, build confidence, and develop your skills in a fun and encouraging environment.
What’s Included?
🏒 Beginner-friendly coaching – You don’t need any previous experience to join in. Our skilled and supportive coaches will guide you through the fundamentals, from skating and stick handling to basic gameplay.
🥅 Bauer equipment loan – Don’t have your own kit? No worries! Thanks to Bauer Hockey, we have high-quality equipment available for loan, so all you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to learn.
⛸ A fun, welcoming atmosphere – Learning a new sport can be intimidating, but we promise this will be a relaxed and friendly environment where you can build confidence, make new friends, and most importantly – have fun!
