  • WHAT DO MALE FIGURE SKATERS WEAR?

    While your practice session outfits are designed for comfort and warmth, competition clothing for male figure skaters is pretty specific! The most popular combo is a bodyshirt and pants. 

     

    Bodyshirts come in various colours and designs and can look like a t-shirt or a button-down shirt. The shirt is attached to briefs with snap fastenings around the crotch, meaning that no matter how many jumps, spins or turns you do, your shirt will never come untucked from your pants. 

     

    As competitive male figure skaters are not permitted to wear tights, pants with four-way lycra stretch are a great option. Usually made from sweat-wicking materials, figure skating pants for men do not restrict movement.
