  • CAN I WEAR SHORTS OR SKIRTS FOR ICE SKATING?

    It’s not a good idea to only wear shorts while you’re ice skating, especially for beginners, as you’re leaving your legs exposed to ice burns, bruises and blade cuts if you fall — not to mention it will be pretty cold!

     

    However, Some ice skaters prefer to wear shorts or skirts with ice skating tights on underneath. This means they’re still protected from falls and the cold, but they’re free to move and skate in a way similar to how they’ll be skating in their competition outfits.
